About SBAN

SBAN Mission

SBAN Goals

SBAN History

SBAN, the Summerbridge Breakthrough Alumni Network, envisions generations of community-conscious leaders from diverse backgrounds whose commitment to education, social justice, and youth development achieves equity for all. To accomplish this vision, SBAN promotes the lifelong learning, leadership and success of its members through the exchange of knowledge, opportunities, and resources. The mutual exchange of support among our members is the centerpiece of SBAN.

Our success depends on the number of people in the network and the strength of our relationships to each other. We want to connect with the over 30,000 student and teacher alumni from over 40 sites who served with spirit over the last 30+ years. More importantly, the Network nurtures a culture of reciprocity among our members, where it becomes commonplace for all of us to share our time, skills, and experience with others who are part of SBAN.
