Our Sisters’ School in New Bedford, MA is looking for an AmeriCorps classroom teacher! Our Sisters’ School is a wonderful independent, tuition-free middle school for girls founded by local New Bedford residents who believe that it is crucial for communities to assist in addressing their quality of education and economic situation.

| "I think I knew I’d be okay at teaching, but I wasn’t anticipating how fun it would be. The girls make it fun. They are curious, motivated, hilarious, insightful, and genuinely enjoyable to be around. I think I’d like them even if I wasn’t their teacher, but that could be my bias talking. Of course they’re not perfect—sometimes they push my buttons just to see how far they can go—but their potential does inspire me, and that’s why I’m staying for another year.”

At the same time, it's an encouraging, supportive, and nurturing place with a deeply committed and compassionate faculty. Lovett is privileged to partner with SBAN and TCPI in our faculty hiring.
