We’re excited to announce a unique partnership that could change the life of an SBAN member…and change the world. The 2012 Echoing Green Fellowship is about to launch, and SBAN members are eligible to utilize a Fast Track that bypasses the first round of the application process. Will it be you? For over 20 years, Echoing Green has worked with some of the most promising emerging leaders in the nonprofit sector. Through their prestigious fellowship program, they have supported over 500 visionary individuals around the world in their efforts to create bold, ground breaking nonprofit organizations: new schools for low income students, advocacy organizations that speak truth to power, effective arts education programs, large-scale public service projects, health-care programs for the needy, innovative legal services programs for the marginalized, and many more. Meet some of the 2011 Echoing Green fellows:
Fellows receive up to $90,000 in seed funding over two years, technical support, and access to a powerful global community of Echoing Green alumni including the founders of Breakthrough Atlanta (Keno Sadler), Teach for America, City Year, College Summit, SKS Microfinance, and Genocide Intervention Network.
"I look forward to personally working with all SBAN members who have an innovative idea and decide to apply for this unique and life-changing opportunity.” -Keno Sadler, Executive Director of SBAN and Echoing Green Fellow
