Connecting Made Easy Through New Features, New Faces!
We are so lucky to have found you. Whether you connected with SBAN through an online search, heard about us from one of your fellow Summerbridge/Breakthrough alums or from our Facebook page, your presence in the SBAN community serves an invaluable purpose to your fellow members. And one of the core ways that you can make your experience in the SBAN community even more impactful is by connecting with other members.
That’s why we’re stepping up our efforts to connect Summerbridge/Breakthrough alums with each other through the introduction of a new feature on the SBAN website called Lost Members. View the members we’ve lost track of over the years and contact us through the page with any leads you may have. Plus, be sure to check back often as the puzzles are solved and more lost members are identified!
And if you have a member you’ve been trying to find as well, let us help you find them! Just email Patrick Saunderswith the name and any information you have on the member you would like to find, and we will post it on the Lost Members page for you.
One SBAN member that’s stepping up to lead the charge in the effort to connect us all is Oluwa Abney. Oluwa is a Former Teacher at BreakthroughSan Juan CapistranoandBreakthrough San Francisco at SF Day Schoolwho will be ramping up the SBAN recruiting effort, which will help create more opportunities for us all. Please help us in welcoming Oluwa by connecting with him on his SBAN profile!

"I am a Senior History Major at Morehouse College and I've recently been assigned the position of Assistant to the Director of SBAN, Keno Sadler. I am extremely excited to fill this position especially after my two summers working with Breakthrough in both San Juan Capistrano and San Francisco, CA. It is imperative that Breakthrough Alum stay connected since we all are highly educated, highly motivated leaders passionate about the improvement of our country's educational system. There's no other network like that of Breakthrough Alumni. Such diversity in backgrounds and in thought is unmatched. Through my position I seek to contribute to the growth of this great network." |
So as you can see, you’re about to witness some exciting growth within the SBAN community in the coming months, but we can’t get there without you! So we ask for you right now to pick at least one of three ways to connect with your community: search the SBAN database for your fellow Summerbridge/Breakthrough alums, refer a friend to SBAN and/or help us find a lost member.
