Family & Alumni Day!

Wednesday, July 24th | 11am - 2:30pm

Summerbridge 2013 is off to a great start! It's the second day of the program, and students are already learning, growing together, and embracing the SB Spirit...

But don't just take our word for it!

We invite you to our annual Family & Alumni Day on Wednesday, July 24th. Family & Alumni Day is an opportunity for alumni and current family members to come visit, (re)connect with the program, and observe some of the hard work our students and teachers have been doing. As a special treat, we will also be hosting our annual Student/Teacher Talent Show in the afternoon!

If you are interested in attending, please RSVP by contacting our Summer Operations Director, Franny Choi, at 401-528-2282 or fchoi@breakthroughprovidence by July 19th!

All events will be held at The Wheeler School, 216 Hope St. Parking is available in the Wheeler parking lot, but fills up quickly. There is also 2-hour street parking available.

Event Agenda
11:00 am - 11:20 am: Family and Alumni Arrival
11:20 am - 12:05 pm: Parent Program / Classroom Observations
12:05pm-12:30pm: Lunch
12:30-1:00pm: Afternoon All Summerbridge Meeting
1:00-2:30pm: Talent Show

Feel free to attend the entire program or just a portion of the day-- just let us know when to expect you when you RSVP!
Our Mission
Breakthrough Providence has a dual mission: to create a pathway to college for low-income, academically motivated middle school students in Providence Public Schools, and to encourage talented high school and college students to pursue careers in education.
