I am happy to announce the launch of your new SBAN TCPI e-newsletter. This monthly e-newsletter will feature our exceptional teachers and change agents, profile partner schools and organizations committed to diversity and inclusivity, and share stories of success and the impact we are having on education. And by "we,” I mean schools like our partner schools committed to TCPI's mission of increasing diversity and inclusivity in education.

Meet Our 2013-2014 TCPI Recruitment Team!

A carefully chosen team has been put together to help recruit and select the new members of the 2013-2014 cohorts in North Carolina and Georgia as well as our newest cohorts in Florida and Pennsylvania. In the coming weeks, they will begin strategically implementing the TCPI Teacher recruitment process to identify the most exceptional teacher/administrator applicants and change agents available, interviewing prospective candidates, and helping select the final cohorts. Meet some of them here.

TCPI Partner Schools - Meet The TCPI Applicants of the Month

One of the fundamental roles of TCPI is to connect TCPI schools with exceptional teachers and change agents. In that spirit, we would like to introduce you to one of many successful TCPI placements, as well as five applicants looking to follow in his footsteps. Koree Hood is an alum from the 2011 TCPI GA cohort who was placed at Palmer Trinity School where he now serves as Director of Diversity. Koree recently gave a powerful speech to the school about the impact that words have on people called "The Power of the Tongue." View Koree's video, and then meet five of our wonderful candidates, and make sure to click the link for the full list!
