The Alumni Communities are the former students and staff of Summerbridge and Breakthrough programs who have come together to share memories, meet new friends, and make a positive difference. They include the first students, the one-time teachers, the staff from this past summer, and everyone in between. SBAN hopes the Alumni Communities include you!
Alumni Communities are new this year and we need your participation and support. The SBAN mission is to promote the lifelong learning, leadership and success of its members through the exchange of knowledge, opportunities, and resources. Our first six Alumni Communities are designed to do just that.
In 2007, we look to support our Alumni Communities to:
• Establish its alumni participant base
• Create a culture of Leaders Developing Leaders
• Hosts two Meet and Greet events
• Provide one educational and professional workshop for a local program or high school
• Make an impact with one fundraiser
• Share the SB/BT spirit with a local program
