Join SBAN Volunteers!

Volunteers founded SBAN and SBAN will continue to thrive with the hands and hearts of new volunteers. Friends and alumni of Summerbridge and Breakthrough programs are welcomed to give their time to any of SBAN’s programs.

Volunteers can expect to:

  • Support programming that reaches across the country and Hong Kong
  • Make a difference by leading local, national and international initiatives
  • Contribute to the lives of young people taking control of their education
  • Share their knowledge with others who share similar interest
  • Create opportunities for learning and service

Welcome to SBAN. Give with your hands and heart!

Search our list of available volunteer opportunities.  As you will see, there is a wide range of opportunities for anyone who wants to volunteer. If you do not see a specific volunteer opportunity that interests you please email us at volunteer@sbalumni.org your specific interests and we will gladly find a match that meets your interests and SBAN’s needs.

Email us your interests and availability at volunteer@sbalumni.org to arrange an online SBAN volunteer orientation.

Spread the word to other alumni and help us continue to grow our SBAN volunteer list so that we may continue providing quality programming for SBAN members and the SB/BT programs that we support.

SBAN volunteers enjoy all of the benefits of SBAN members plus

  • Participation in the SBAN Personally Assessed Leaders (PALs) development process.
  • Training in leadership skills including communication, advising, teambuilding and organizational development.
  • Support from SBAN in career advancement including resume building and interview workshops as well as advocacy.
